SEO For Beginners

SEO for beginners is an amazing thing that you can learn and build to your advantage in today’s world. However, it is not as easy to get started with SEO as you may think. You also need to know what do you want first before starting because there is a lot more than SEO you need to understand. So, let us start by looking at some tips and tricks to help you be successful at the beginning of your journey as well as some of the tools you will have to use to get your head around SEO. Keep reading to learn these tips along the way and then let me introduce you to one of the most exciting parts of SEOSEO Audit Toolkit!

SEO Audit Toolkit

In this guide, I am going to talk about a new WordPress plugin called the SEO Audit toolkit which allows you to check all the content on your site and determine if they are on-page or off-page, and this is done automatically, without you needing to worry about manually doing so. It gives you a score based on how easy it is to rank any given website on Google and makes checking whether your site is indexed using the Page

Speed Insights feature which is available to everyone and it allows you to see where your page is falling apart in terms of keyword ranking because of a lack of backlinks. This plugin has been created in conjunction with WP Engine Plugin and has taken over from many other SEO plugins but the main difference it adds to SEO is the ability to measure performance straight away while the other plugins focus more on indexing things and creating keywords to promote their websites, SEO Audit Toolkit does exactly that.

SEO For Beginners

This plugin can be used for single websites or larger sites with hundreds of thousands of pages! The best part is that users can easily find a template or plugin they want to add to their WordPress site and integrate into their existing WordPress site or even customize it to fit their needs. There are plenty of templates available on our platform but unfortunately, SEO Audit Toolkit is one of the few WordPress plugins you can turn into something that helps your business grow.

In addition, there is integration functionality available which allows sites connected to the same domain to share data with each other, making information like search rankings and traffic analysis easily accessible across multiple domains. All that being said, the SEO Audit Toolkit is easy to set up and you don’t have to spend too much time figuring it out or waiting for updates to appear! Just install it now and start posting some awesome stats and insights back onto Twitter and Facebook.

SEO Audit Toolkit is only available on WP Engine, but those who already have it installed are encouraged to try adding the plugin to their own webpage or they can just visit your dashboard and click through to view results! We offer FREE consultations to customers of all sizes. If you are ready to make the leap and try out SEO Audit Toolkit please email us at support@theaw.co.uk and we would love to hear your thoughts and help you create the next big SEO success story!

WordPress Plugin Guide

This plugin guide will show the essential features of our upcoming plugin SEO Audit Toolkit. Some of them are missing as a result of our earlier article, but we will explain why they are missing and hopefully, you will see them soon.

WP Engine vs WordPress

The first thing to catch up on is the differences in WordPress between WordPress and WordPress Engine. Both platforms are web hosting platforms which means that they do different things. One platform is open source and free whereas the other is proprietary and built on Windows, macOS, or Linux, etc.

SEO For Beginners

WordPress is known for years and rightfully is a popular platform of choice for web developers across the globe, however, people seem to forget that it was created for blogging purposes only as it became more popular and made it possible to build custom themes and apps. In 2012 WordPress 2.0 came along and brought several changes along with additional features to increase its popularity. Over the past five years its updates were released and in 2014 version 4.0 reached its end. However, due to security flaws and slow development cycles, the upgrade cycle has slowed down and some recent versions have had to be skipped to speed up the process of upgrades and new software releases.

Many people are still unsatisfied with the current state of the platform which leaves them questioning its future. As its popularity continued to decrease WordPress stopped updating and the two platforms merged in March 2018 and later in October 2019 WordPress finally updated its code significantly to keep pace with the latest updates to allow for faster updates and better stability which drastically improved its performance overall. Currently, the main update and release dates are 20 December 2021 and 10 February 2022 in comparison to 5 December 2020 and 21 January 2021 with the older versions. Although newer versions are gradually rolling into the public, the developer teams behind both platforms remain active and work hard to improve the platform and provide better security. With WordPress becoming more stable, more advanced, and integrated we expect to see further updates and tweaks soon to come.

SEO audit plugin

The second thing I tried to understand was the difference between SEO Audit Toolkit and SEO Audit Plugins. My research revealed that the purpose of the SEO Audit Toolkit is to analyze your website’s SEO and determine if it is on-page or off-page and then make recommendations for improving your SEO. Similar to SEO Audit Toolkit I searched online to find out more information about SEO Audit Toolkit but unfortunately, I found no official sources as they have removed their website from their SEO Audit Software Marketplace.

That being said, my research led me to conclude that SEO Audit Toolkit could be used for multiple purposes such as SEO Audit and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Audit separately or as a Complete SEO Audit solution for your entire website. If this is true then SEO Auditing Toolkit isn’t quite necessary yet because it is good for one of the main purposes of Website Development, Design, and Maintenance but if it isn’t then it should at least be in our arsenal to ensure that all our websites are properly indexed, indexed accurately, safe and are well optimized for SEO.

SEO For Beginners

The SEO Audit Toolkit is easy to set up. Once you have successfully installed the plugin, simply activate it by clicking “Check Now” to access it on your dashboard and then go to Settings > Site Overview to give the plugin a quick overview and then decide on a Template which you can either import/download from the plugin’s repository (we don’t recommend this as it allows you to upload custom templates from anywhere on the internet onto your website with no issues!) but instead, you can pick a template and include it onto your website with minimal effort.

After selecting your template, add a title and meta description and click Add to Domain. You may now feel a little confused about your site because SEO Audit Toolkit will also monitor your domain for any issues and will tell you when something is wrong with your domain. Of course, you can configure the plugin to scan for specific rules on certain domains (e.g. if you wanted to allow incoming links as a form submission on our site). Once the plugin has received all of your settings it will now run daily checks for errors as well as check for legal violations to ensure that you are abiding by all guidelines. By default, WordPress does automatic updates but the SEO Audit toolkit lets you change this and can detect updates from the last several weeks. Lastly, SEO Audit Toolkit ensures that the WordPress core files are kept safe from malware which is very important as malware attacks continue to increase at an alarming rate and hackers seem to be finding newer ways and techniques to break the system.

SEO Audit Toolkit Reviews

This plugin review is quite comprehensive and takes you through each feature and explains what they do and why they do it to help you be efficient in your SEO efforts. But first I would like to point out a couple of bugs that I personally never encountered and had no issue with! They are:

1. Only showing “SEO” in Settings -> Site Overview when “SEO” is checked

2. When trying to insert a URL into Domain Explorer, you cannot select “SEO” as it’s automatically set to SEO

3. Not letting you set the “On-Page SEO Indexer to SEO”

4. Being unable to edit your post list

SEO Audit Toolkit reviews were written to discuss the actual usability of the plugin but not compare it to other competing solutions as many others have claimed they do. In general, SEO Audit Toolkit has a few benefits over them and also a few negatives. Below I have listed the advantages and disadvantages of SEO Audit Toolkit and I hope this helped someone to begin thinking about how useful SEO Audit Toolkit is.
