The tournament will be played in a multi day manner and consists of four group stages and playoffs, while final matches will be broadcasted live on BBC One

In each round eight semifinal matches will take place between top five teams from Round 1. After semi finals, there will be two quarterfinals which will consist of six rounds (3 x 4), a knock out phase (2 x 4) and a final. During the Final Stage, each team is able to play against all other top two teams from the preceding group. Each Final teams will be awarded equal points according to their performance during the season. The defending champions get a total advantage of 3.5 points. If for any reason another side wins that game, they lose the tie at that time but still win the championship with only 2.5 points. For example, if all three sides are tied, the winning team has a score of 2.5 + 0.5 = 8 points. So, it is important to understand the dynamics so that you may predict their chances to defend the title. As this competition was intended to help increase the number of professional soccer leagues internationally, there are now also additional competitions, such as FIFA Champions named after the winners of last edition in London.

The most recent edition of FIFA saw 13 countries represented and 11 participating teams. The event went down well with fans from all around the world and sponsors like Girona, Alfa Romeo and PepsiCo contributed to over $600,000.

In conclusion, FIFA is an extraordinary tournament which we will see through to its next edition!
